This past Saturday the Chicagoland area was greeted with a sneak peak of Spring, feeling the 55 degree temperatures felt so nice! Just with that small taste of Spring I am so ready to start shopping for my spring wardrobe. It is so refreshing seeing all of the new spring clothes starting to hit stores, the bright colors along make them jump right into my arms.
I have challenged myself when I buy new clothes this Spring that they have to be any color but black and every piece I bring home I need to toss two pieces for it. I have found that when I am getting ready I have a closet bursting clothes but I feel like I have nothing to wear. I clearly have too much clothing and not enough items that I like. One of my goals in my 101 in 1001 post was to start selling on Poshmark and starting this trend of tossing old pieces is the perfect opportunity.
If you haven’t shopped around on Poshmark before, a new season is the perfect time to start shopping it. Poshmark helps connect you to other people’s style that you adore, allowing you to shop their closets 24/7. I have only shopped Poshmark and I haven’t sold yet, but I have heard from many friends that it is very easy to sell on it too. Once you make a sale Poshmark sends you a pre-paid, pre-addressed shipping label and you just slap it on your package. Unlike many resale shops I have sold at, Poshmark only take 20% of your sale and you get to keep the rest! It is a great place to give your clothing and accessories a second chance at life. 😉
If you have some clothes that you just do not wear anymore or you are looking for some new pieces to add to your wardrobe that are a great deal, Poshmark is the place for you!
